Heian period; attributed to the hand of Ono no Tōfū (894-966); The Great Perfection of Wisdom Sutra in the calligraphy of Tenroku 1 (970) (Heian-chō jidai; Den Ono no Tōfū hitsu; Tenroku gannen Dai hannya; 平安朝時代/伝小野道風筆/天綠元年字大般若)
The identification states "attributed to" Ono no Tōfū, but the date it gives for the piece postdates Tōfū's life. It is reasonable to speculate that the attribution is a quote of some preceding source, while the date (970 CE) could have been based on the inscription accompanied the original scroll. The calligraphy is in Tōfū mode.

[0810c19] 「復作是言:『汝善男子應修靜慮波羅蜜多,不應觀地界若樂若苦,不應觀水、火、風、空、識界若樂若苦。何以故?地界地界自性空,水、火、風、空、識界水、火、風、空、識界自性空;是地界自性即非自性,是水、火、風、空、識界自性亦非自性,若非自性即是靜慮波羅蜜多。於此靜慮波羅蜜多,地界不可得,彼樂與苦亦不可得;水、火、風、空、識界皆不可得,彼樂與苦亦不可得。所以者何?此中尚無地界等可得,何況有彼樂之與苦!汝若能修如是靜慮,是修靜慮波羅蜜多。』
