Transliteration

GM 743: mine no yuki / migiwa no kōri / fumiwakete / kimi ni zo madou / michi wa madowazu (Cranston 2006, p. 956)

Translation

Genji Monogatari 743: Niou to Ukifune: Trudging here over snowy peaks and icy banks / never did I lose my bearings along the path / that my heart follows, lost in wild / longing for you (Washburn 2015, p. 1191)

Genji Monogatari 743: Ukifune 10. Niou to Ukifune: Snow on the mountain, / ice along the riverbank— / I trudge through all: / I am lost in you, my love, / but I never lose the path (Cranston 2006, p. 956)
