前中納言定家心あてにわくともわかし/梅のはなちりかふ里の/はるのあわ雪

Transliteration

SG 1782 saki chūnagon teika
kokoro ate ni / waku tomo wakaji / ume no hana / chiri kau sato no / haru no awa yuki

Meager Gleanings

ponder though I may, I cannot / grasp how all this will be replaced / by the downward / drift of plum blossoms, / the village’s wet spring snow
