SKKS X: 950 Composed on a journey. -Eien, Provisional Archbishop. rare it is for me / to sleep on a journey like / this, where white clouds / over the paths through the deep / mountains; now the sun has set SKKS X: 951 Imagining 'seeing a traveler at dusk.' –[Minamoto no] Tsunenobu, Major Counselor. illumined by rays / of evening sun, a traveler / crosses the meadow / of short reeds; ah, but where will / he find lodging for the night (Rodd 2015, p. 390)
