Transliteration

KKS XIII: 628 michinoku ni / ari to iu naru / natorigawa / naki na torite wa / kurushikarikeri (McCullough 1985, p. 141)

Translation

KKS XIII: 628 River of Rumors / they say that you flow through far / Michinoku how / painful to know that we must / suffer from these false whispers (Rodd 2017, p. 229)

KKS XIII: 628 How painful to have / this groundless reputation, / as though I were kin / to the River of Scandal / flowing in Michinoku. (McCullough 1985, p. 141)
