さ月こは鳴もふりなむほとゝきす/またしきほとのこゑをきかばや

Transliteration

KKS III: 138 satsuki koba / naki mo furinan / hototogisu / madashiki hodo no / koe o kikaba ya

Translation

KKS III: 138 by midsummer the / voice of the nightingale will / be well past its prime / oh that I might hear it sing / just once in the early season (Rodd 2017, p. 88)
