心もてちらむたにこそをしからめ/なとかもみちに風の吹くらむ

Transliteration

Shūi wakashū 209 kokoro mote / chiran dani koso /oshikarame / nado ka kōyō ni / kaze no fuku ran

Translation

A Collection of Gleanings of Japanese Poetry 209
I wished with all my heart / for them to fall, yet why does / the very sight now fill me / with regret? it must be the wind / which blows against these autumn leaves
